Dear friends, are you ready for the festival’s autumn session?
Firstly, check out “Nordea Champions’ Parade’’ on November 26 or the tasting of the Top 100 wines of the “Wine of the Year” competition. You will uncover lots of pearls from the world of wine, will receive advice from the leading wine experts as well as take part in Michael Schuster’s, one of the world’s leading wine experts, mini-masterclasses.
Secondly, a true delight for champagne lovers will be the unforgettable Dom Pérignon dinner at “Vincents”, as well as a novelty of the festival: “Champagne + Chefs by Electrolux”, where Raimonds Tomsons, the world’s 7th best wine expert, will demonstrate the diversity of champagne at a four course champagne dinner by Māris Jansons and Arturs Taškāns.
Thirdly, for the first time in Riga we are organising La Paulée du Riga or a genuine Burgundy Feast, by inviting you to bring your favourite Burgundy bottles for Burgundy lunch in “Kolonāde”. We will provide Michael Schuster and his Burgundy stories, a couple of great Burgundy wines from Latvian importers and a multiple course lunch. Right before lunch in collaboration with the Noble Wine and French Cultural Institute, we’ll show you the European premiere in Riga for the documentary "Burgundy: People with a Passion for Wine"!
Finally, during the closing of the autumn session, a week after the La Paulée du Riga – de Venoge champagne dinner at “Kolonāde”.
